I have about 6 acres that will need winter grasses planted on it. My question is this when is the best time to plant and what type of grass should I plant. If I don't do it right I am going to have errosion problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks cb

i assume when you talk about winter grasses your are referring to wheat rye and oats, and probably fescue since you are using it for errosion controll. plant them in september or october and you will be fine!
