Pretty sure it was Wisconsin-Madison, not Oshkosh...but they might be the same thing.

O ye of little faith. The Millsaps administration that took over while I was in school there drastically changed the social scene at the school. Since Jackson sucks if you're a white person looking for a good time, Millsaps social identity has alway been completely dependent on the fraternities on campus. Recent crack-downs have really cramped their style. Believe me when I say that I have not seen the craziness I saw at Millsaps (pre-Lucas admin.) at UM. Granted, I'm a law student and as such, probably not quite as connected to the social scene. Ole Miss deserves its reputation...but Millsaps used to be (pound for pound) the partyingest school in the state. Unfortunately, that's not true anymore...but my tune will probably change when I have kids.

Well, I've partied in Oxford, and I've partied in Athens, GA (UGA)...among a few other college towns. Boys, there ain't no comparison...Athens is the drankinest, dancinest, partyinest place I've ever been. I mean, you can't throw a beer bottle without hittin another beer joint! I don't know how anybody ever graduates at that place! And music....lawd, they got a good band playing on every corner! How many of you can say your school town turned out the likes REM and the B-52's? Only Vanderbilt could claim more music scenes. But, then, you'd have to go to Vandy, and who wants to do that?
