Fox SS wanted to move the game up from 6pm to 1:30pm to fill a time slot, but at the same time refused to show any other game this season like LT wanted.

on the surface....... Murray state has a little bit of talent.... Nick Turner, Ed Gellin, and a few others, any of you State fans wanna weigh in on anything else they have ??? Personally i think yall should win, just curious if they have a whole team of guys who were cut from Div 1 schools, or if there's just a handful and the rest are div 2 guys....

there not div2.. lets get that strait.. there div 1-aa..
division 1-aa is something of an oddity itself.. i mean theres no other sports other than football where there is div 1-aa.. in baketball theres no div 1-aa.. samething for baseball...
turth be known theres been some awful fine talent come out of the div 1-aa ranks..
why just last year i saw div-1-aa MAINE whoop msu....

What, no tv for the big MSU v Murray State battle royal????? I would have thought this game would be the ESPN prime time game.
The only game this season that could top this matchup is Ole Miss v The Citadel. I hate it that I am going to miss this barn burner, but I'll mercifully be at my sister's wedding.

Not me...I will also be bringing a cyanide tablet to the game. If the unthinkable should happen, I'm falling on my sword. Good thing I'm not a State fan, otherwise yall would have missed my delightful wisdom ever since the Maine game.

That'll call for a walkman and discreet earphones:lol:

Murray State also has a boy (Adam Speeg) from the great LOYD STAR HIGH SCHOOL, in brookhaven that plays def. end.
he's also white.

Ramsey, I thought about that, but thought better of it. I don't think the Citadel is worth risking the wrath of my little sister, my wife, and the other women in my family. Getting caught with the headphones on the wedding premises could undo all the brownie points I have been building up since the end of last hunting season and put me in the doghouse. These women folk tend to get all emotional and irrational over all this wedding stuff.
Now, a trip or two to the car during breaks in the action for an occasional score update might slide. Otherwise, I'll just have to read all about it in the Sunday paper and the internet.

Several MSU expatriates on that roster......
Topps signed with State, went to Itawamba and re-signed, couldn't get any PT so he left.
Ken Topps
Akeem Lofton
Nick Turner
Linzy Patterson
Possibly two more, not sure though.
