Bigwater....I'm gonna throw my boys in with ya'lls after this past week. Where have all the offence gone.
Ole Miss did pick up the pace toward the end of the game but didn't have enough.
Ms State did what they had to do to win.
Tn looked lethargic the whole game. We'll know after this week if we got game or not.....

Hell boys, offense dissappeared in the SEC unless your BAMA this past week....
I really haven't seen an offense that impressed me that much yet...we looked good in week 1 but the ghost of seasons past is gone...I do like our ability to run the ball, but you gotta be able to keep defenses honest...and we didn't do that against South Carolina.
St. Urban's offense looks about as effective as Zook's was...and he got canned...maybe it'll get better, but they ain't there yet.
UT lacks leadership on the field...the fearless frosh Ainge is having a bit of a sophomore slump (which he'll probably break out of when UGA visits Knoxville)...you woulda thought they'd do like years past and play smash mouth football, but it didn't look like their hearts were in it....
Even the Ole Ballcoaches peepee 'n Fire offense needs a dose of viagra as I heard someone say...I know he doesn't have the guns right now, but none of his trickery seems to be working....
Defense is dominating, maybe at some point a team will pop up and fall into offensive rythm (hammering ULM, Wyoming, and Boise State doesn't count)...but until that happens we won't have anybody referred to in the same sentence as USC (course if somebody's "D" plays well enough to make it through the SEC and Ch. Game undefeated, then they deserve to play in the Nat'l Champ. Game), but right now with the offenses the SEC is bringing to the field they aren't flashy enough to get those media votes....
Just my 2 cents....

UT lacks leadership on the field
'Thug life' is catching up with them.

Ain't that the freaking truth. We could combine both OLs and still not be able to crack an egg. Looks like UM's well on top OLs has run a little dry. MSU's bottomed out about 2-3 years ago. This is a combination of very few SEC quality OLs available from Mississippi high schools the last few years, and poor out-of-state recruiting by MSU and UM to compensate for this deficiency. Hard to establish a solid running game (or any kind of game) behind these porous lines. Could be another loooooooooonng season.

I would tend to agree about the one upset, especially if the Florida game was at Starkville, but in this case I honestly doubt it will happen.
Our only chance is the Georgia game from what I can tell.

Jeff, I ain't sayin' it can't happen but honestly, I think ya'll have a better chance against LSU than Us...I tend to agree with BW though....
I really don't believe we'll be the same team that couldn't finish the drill USC...just a poor effort...hopefully, that and the onside kick last week was enough to wake our boys up...
You gotta remember, Stevil hates UGA more than the Devil himself...he had USC up for that game....
I think we beat ya'll with Defense...and at the LOS....

We never beat LSU, no matter which one has the better record. We could go into that game undefeated and them not having won a game and get smoked.

It's happened way too many times in the past.
We beat LSU in '99 during the undefeated run by the graces of god, and to this day I still don't know how Jones got across that goal line.
Florida is the most vulnerable right now, but with the game being played at the swamp, I give us very little chance of winning. Now, if it was in Starkville, I'd say MSU all the way since Fla hasn't won a game at MSU in close to 20 yrs.

you never know..... winning in the swamp tends to happen, at least it did a few years ago, i was shocked as anybody about that win, so you never know what could happen...
