Per the Clarion Ledger:

OPEN TRYOUTS AT KICKER: After watching his team miss a field goal and have a PAT blocked at Vanderbilt, Orgeron brought in three walk-on kickers to work out on Monday.

I'm glad State has 3 all-state kickers and punters on their roster.

Yep, Blake finally woke up and decided where the best place for him would be. He's looking at being a 4 yr all sec punter right now.

matt's problem is long field goals...... the miss he had shook his confidence is the best i can tell you as to why he didnt' get any attempts the other day..... It was a decision rippon made just before gametime, he told Coach O that will was doing all the kicking saturday, that usually means matt's confidence was a little shaky

Hey greenhead, they call it "foot" ball for sure. Kickers are important.

BUT, there ain't much consolation in saying after drubbing by a SEC team, "Well, our kickers are better than yours!"

One of these days we'll get the rest of a real football sqaud
