Sky high off an emotional OT win over LSU on the road, with less than 4 days to prepare, with upcoming UT rival Alabama looming thereafter. They will be overconfident and overlooking the Rebel three ring follies. They are ripe for the upset. The smell of victory is in the air.

I've been reduced to creating my own pre-game drama this season.

It only took them a halfto beat LSU. I give Ole Miss 10 minutes.

Jim Bob Cooter could lead that middle school offense and smoke UM.

I will be heading to the game to see the great Ole Miss victory. Just kidding, I don't think there is anyway Ole Miss can win on the road after watching them lose UGLY to Wyoming. Granted I'm a MSU fan and seeing the Rebs lose does give me a little smile in a family of die hard rebels, but I just don't see Ole Miss doing much of anything.
I am going to simply experience 100,000 + singing Rocky Top.

The extreme underdog situation is when Ole Miss seems to play at its best------when favored or "expected" to win, watch out ---- when in the underdog role, the Rebs sometimes rise to the occassion with some pesky play. At least this is the myth that I will carry into the game with me, along with my flask full of bourbon.
UM's secret weapon has yet to reveal himself. Perhaps against UT.

They have an off week after Ole Piss, so I doubt they will be looking ahead.
It's ok to dream if you want...

Webbmaster, we are both wrong about UT's next opponent (I said Alabama, you said an open date). UT has Georgia the Sat. following the UM game ---a pretty important showdown in the East, especially if UT has any hope of catching Florida for the East crown. I know what you are thinking ---how could both of us be wrong?

Happens to the best of us.
So, I still think UM has them where we want them. Weary from the emotional OT game over LSU, overconfident, and looking ahead to UGA. IF the Rebs play out of their collective asses, and catch UT flat, this could be a ballgame. Otherwise, it could get ugly. But, that is why we play the games. I'll be there amongst all 100k of the orange clad in-bred jeds, cheering on my Rebs in the football version of mission impossible.
