Mike Smith

Hey Guys,
Does anyone know what happened to Mike Smith of Louisiana Guide Service out of Poydras, LA? I have been trying to get in touch with him to see how he made out from Katrina and see if he was going to be doing any guiding this year. He really can get those ducks and geese in close and seeing how our lease is totally screwed for this year I need somewhere to go.

A guy I work with here on the dredge is from Chalmette and knows him. I will get an update!

I know his brother very well. From what I understand they lost everything as far as housing and all. Last I talked with Mark(his brother) they weren't sure what they were going to do as far as guiding this year. Heck most of us down here don't even know what we are going to do to hunt. Things are slowly getting better I hear they are going to open Breton Sound Marina this weekend. IF all of that continues to move along, hopefully we can go sit in a destroyed marsh to attempt to duck hunt. Next time I talk to Mark I'll find out for you if MIke is going to guide or not.
