by Seem too Xtrema2 you?
I have hunted several times with a robo duck or sometimes two set out....and then even more times without....I know that often they help liven up your spread, but I have heard others say they sometimes flare ducks....what do some people who use them reguarly say about them....I am considering buying one of my own, and I am wondering weather I should get a hen or drake (mallard)...my thinking would be to use a suzie robo if you wanna kill greenheads (thats what your calls are emulating anyways...) what yall think?
also....where is a good website or dealer to get a good deal on one....i am sure the prices are jacked up right now as people are buyin em up

I got one a drake floater. Been tryin to sell it to duckkiller. 40 bucks. Only been used once. I figure if I need a decoy with a battery, motor and flappin wings to kill ducks then I don't need to be hunting. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

question still remains unanswered...yall think they work or you think they are just not fair? I have seen them work so good that ducks were trying to land on them, and also i have seen every duck for an entire day flare off them.
i think they shoudl be outlawed...no electronic calls just like no electronic decoys...period

Do not think people are, "buying them up", as they are so yesterday. The ducks got wise to them and the only thing you might get are juvies and then not to long into a season as they see them all up and down the flyway! I used my for about 2 seasons and have not used it in 4 years!

Plus what he said twice....They are one contributing factor to lower duck numbers in the past few years.

Same as Mudsucker and Tunica. they seem to flare more ducks than they pull in and are a a pain in the butt too. I mean when you have one out and ducks are flaring and you go pick it up and start getting ducks into the spread, humm, not much left to think about at least that is what happens to me.

It's not really the fact of whether or not they work. I just refuse to use them because I feel you don't need things like that to kill ducks if your calling is right and decoys are right you should be alright.

I agree, they should be outlawed.
But, out here everyone and thier brother uses them at the beginning of December. So, they'll pull birds from you if you don't use one. Later on in the season they flare birds.
I think they are effective early in the season until the birds get shot up a little. Then they get wise.
Good calling, a good spread and a jerk string will pull 'em in.
