Fairly new here, Still thought i would share some details of my last Hunt.

Left Tuesday p.m. to Missippippi. Arrived At House Boat that evening.

On water Wensday a.m. had 3 limits by 8:30. Snoozed the p.m hunt.

On water Thurday a.m. had 3 limits by 8:00am. Added 5 more the p.m.

On water Friday a.m. had 3 limits by 7:45 a.m. Added 8 more in the p.m. hunt.

Sat. was slower due to more weekend hunters, still managed 8 in the a.m.

Sun.- weather was tough still found 6 willing to submit

Mon- More hunting pressure, still squezzed out 6. Let for home.

Some limits were 6 birds, most were 4. 85% Mallards,15% gadwall and weidgon's(sp)

4 Hunters for the first 3 days, 2 there after.

Birds were everywhere after " Front" moved through, Robo's were the ticket!!!! Duck's falling from the stratosphere to slam our spread!!

Undoubtably the best hunt of the season! this trip even trumped the 40+ at Reelfoot.

Wednesday thru Sunday. :? It wasn't the "weekend pressure" dude. Ducks can be pretty dumb sometimes, but I haven't met one yet that was a glutton for punishment.

House boat that must be that high dollar outfitter out at the Rez. I have been wanting to try them out. I heard the duck hunting is sensational out there this time of year.

You guy's are WAY off the mark, As far as glutton for punishment, they must have rode the short bus down the Mississippi Fly-way.Not hard to figure out that the birds that were landing in the spread Wens thru Fri. were not as willing to commit when the other people just happened to show up...did I mention this was Public Land? As far as the intellect of a Duck, I'll say this, we probably killed 5-6 while we were trying to retrieve downed birds, standing in the middle of the spread, face's shinnig like a new penny....Go Figure?

Not trying to 'Glote", just wanted to share what in my 21yrs of life has been the best outting so far.

I'm not into guided hunt's. Nothing wrong with them. I just want to do it on my own.

To each there own......

Hmmm......Let's see here, what reason would I have to blow smoke???
I could try and go on the defensive and pleed my case....Nahhh...don't feel like swimmi'n in the same water as a Shoveler.

Well, it could be somebody with 3 posts comin on and boastin about the robos, but more to the point it was these two statements:

Three possibilities here: 1) I'm misreadin this, or 2) you killed limits in the morning then hunted again in the afternoon, or 3) the whole thing is a bunch of hooey.

It's called double dipping and it's highly illegal. You leave the camp with 36 ducks you are 24 ducks over your posession limit. Say a freindly hello to Mr. Green Jeans when you see him then bend over and lube up.
