i got some friends that go bow fishing alot.. i been a time or two.. shot a 35#, 28#, and a 25# buffolo... that was fun...

Went on web site it weighed 244. and was 8'2'' long
Didn't say where it was killed.
One big fish.

thats a good one there,
i have seen some that big. i was down in venice La. two summers ago. we would go fish for reds on the mud lumps then would come up the river and go jig for bass in the rozo cane thickets. every once in a while you would see a couple of gar feeding on the top. there was always more than one, and some were as big as that one! it gets freaky when they are close enough that you can see there beady pearl colored eyes. hard to believe them big suckers live under that water. never shot a big one though.
