There's some places here that are selling, but they are selling for around 16 bucks for 3 pounds and that's boiled.

They had a big article down here in the times picayune I think yesterday or sunday on crawfish. They are going to be painfuly expensive this year, over 80% of the crawfish crop was wiped out from the storm surges from the storms. We were going to boil some for the super bowl, but even down here they are running 2.97/lb live, that's too steep for my blood.

Guys, think about it for a moment. Ya go out to a fancy restaurant and shell out $25 + per person for a steak dinner. If you are a true crawfish eater, ya should be willing to shell out about $20 for 5-6 lbs of crawfish per person. With some new potatoes and corn, and some gumbo on the side ----mmmmmmmmmmmmmm good.

I don't think I'm gonna let $3 per lb scare me away from a good crawfish eating.

totally agree.
It goes the same way to for the people that complain about gas prices, but yet they sit and chug down beer. Ever figured out the per gallon price for beer? You'd fall flat on your face once you passed out.
