Duck Leases

Postby Welldoggie » Sun May 05, 2002 5:46 pm

I'm locked on a VERY small lease for the upcoming season. I needed a place that was fairly easy to get in and and out since my youngest boy joins us next year. I got a feeling I will be doing more coaching than shooting with my 12 yr old and 10 yr old in the same blind. That will be cool. I took them out this afternoon and tossed some clay targets with a hand thrower.

Speaking of water...I drove down to Vardaman this morning for a Memorial service and could not believe the water. It was high on every single bridge we went over.

It may be one of those years where we have the perfect set up(for once), a real dog box for the dog to sit and yet have a bunch of blank sky(no ducks). If so, we'll just have to do like JudgeJB and fire up the stove and eat groceries to pass the time.

Ya'll take care.
