home made septic tanks ?

anyone have any inovative ideas for a septic tank that will only carry 1 commode and wash sink.? we do have a gathering once in a while but it will only have limited use.. very little use.. the field lines will be no problem just trying to save some bucks on a tank..this is a metal shop on a slab..

Our camp uses plastic 55 gallon barrles with a PVC pipe headed out to it and then a small overflow....
They just ad some septic tank cleaner in once in a while and are good.

Since Bigwater started hunting with us, we had to bury a school bus at camp to handle the extra waste.

My rent house has a 55 gallon drum, works fine for the couple that lives there..Easy and cheap...

Our camp used to have a 55 gallon drum but found out after a couple of years that it just wouldn't cut it, but from your description it had way more going through it than what you will. Ours worked fine for a while, but I think it got over loaded.

How bout an old diesel tank or somethin. one that a farmer has maybe banged up and wants to get rid of. One of the Smaller ones of course.

judge jb check with b&b concrete they have old addmixture tank around 200/300 gals and they have a spout on the top and bottom. this may work for you!!!!
