What's sad is the fact that the birds showed up after the season was over. I followed the tracking all season and at the most there was like 5 birds in MS.
When I got in today I rode down to the camp just to check on things. I've got a cypress brake that never holds a bird all season.....never killed a bird in it in all my years.
I pull up to it.....and there's over 500 birds in this sucker....woodies...mallards and gads.
And these were new birds, weren't in there last weekend.

The ducks that were on that web page last year were all caught and tagged in Arkansas. This year Arkansas has done 50 satellite ducks and Mississippi will do 30. They will be fun to watch and see if they make it back.
Ducks are really on the move right now with this warm weather.
