Plantin Tropical Corn

When should one plant tropical corn and has anyone ever tried and seen good results?? Thanks!

i try to plant some every year, but have had trouble getting seed the last few years. i have planted it from may to middle/end of july with no problems. good to have some later roastin ears. also more to last in the field until deer or second dove season.

Tropical corn is best suited for late plantings from mid-May through the end of June.

If you can plant before mid-May, the standard "temperate" hybrids will be more productive.
