lab wont retrieve

got a 6 month old blk female and she wont pickup anything. had her at the lake yesterday and she jumped in the water, then chased a duck. left the bumper out there. she loves the water but just wont pick up anything. wont pick up on land either. what should i do to get her to retrieve?

My pup went throughthe same thing for about 1 month, even after she was done teething she would not do it. My other two never had thet problem. But now she is fine it was like she never missed beat. I tried all the time to get her to retrieve anything, then one day I gave up. And about two weeks later I was welding a trailer and my cousin walked up and threw a stick off of the trailer and she hauled tail and brought it back and I went crazy. I know never sticks but het it has been fine since then.
