Does anyone have any information on fee-fishing sites (pay to fish)? I'm interested in mainly catfish, but any information would be appreciated.
Thanks!

are you looking for old catfish ponds that are now pay per lb what you catch?
or just any pay lake. i believe ok. county lake is a pay lake, just close.
or do you want a stocked place that are managed?
what size fish, eating size? monsters?
there are plenty of pay lakes across mississippi. if i where tageting cat's i would go to the tenn tomm. but i fish for "big" cats. don't ever catch them but i do fish for them LOL.
be little more specific so the board can help you out.

Thanks, I should have been more specific. I am looking for private ponds, old catfish ponds, etc. where the landowner charges a fee (either per day or per pound) to let individuals fish. Information on managed ponds, even for bass or other species would be nice also. Thanks again.

Seems like there is a membership place near Brandon. They have several lakes and ponds of varying size, and you pay fairly reasonable dues. It is supposed to be very good fishing.
Somebody here is bound to know the name and if they are still in operation.

I believe it is between Puckett and Brandon. I'll look up the name of it. I think it was about $500/year, maybe $350, but the lakes are stocked and managed.

The lake between Brandon and Puckett is Spring Water Ranch. You have to join which is about $600 and then the annual membership is about $400 or so....will end up costing you close to $1000 for your first year. Kinda pricey for just wanting to catch catfish.
Try posting on the MDWFP forums (the fishing forum).
What part of the state are you from ??? There used to be a place between Laurel and Hattiesburg, around Moselle, that you paid $x/day to fish and they guaranteed you x lbs of fish. If you didn't catch the minimum, they would give you more fish.

You can try Robert Bowen in Crawford or you can try Ben Koehn in West Point. Both of them have old catfish ponds that you can fish in for a fee. Mr. Bowen charges by the pound. I'm not sure how much Mr. Koehn charges. You should be able to find their phone number in the phone book. These are the two closest to you that I can thank of..
