no u dont have to drive but you can if you want you can fly in to saskatoon and we will pick you up we are only driving because we want to pheasant hunt in montana. anyone who wants to go can convoy with us or fly and we will pick them up. this guy donates a hunt to du every year in MS last year i bought the hunt at the du state convention and went and fell in love with the place it is truly unbelievable. this year he donated a hunt to our newly formed Lawrence County DU chapter and we auctioned it off. so the guy who bought the hunt along with me and some more are going man the price is unbeatable for what you get

Wish I could touch that! I haven't seen a great, all-inclusive hunt below $500/day in the 10 years I've hunted Canada!

That's a tremendous price. $780/day meals, lodging, food, guides, equipment is getting mid- to upper-range but there's certainly more expensive! Exchange rates $1.04 last i checked, down from $1.51 a few years ago, and 6 days maximum licensed days - even at today's top rates, those outfitters are taking it on the chin compared to yesteryear.

I made that drive round trip (Grenada-Canada) TWICE in one year (August and September). Better allow a few days extra even if driving straight through! It's a long drive any way you figure it and I have flown ever since!

Good luck and hope y'all have a great time, your timing is perfect. I'll be in Alberta that same week and possibly southern Saskatchewan for a few days afterwards.

it is an extremely long drive we were worn down when we got there last year but it didnt take long go get going there is nothing like it that i have experience in waterfowling will try to go every year that i can from here on out. we developed a good rapport with the owner and he is trying to get more business from down south so we are looking forward to it. the price sounds too good to be true but we had a great time last year

You piqued my interest. I told my wife I was going and she said . . . . When? I have no idea whether I can or will go, but I did research airfare - about $700.00.

What about flying a dog. Does anyone know what the deal on that is?

last year we went in my buddys yukon denali got 17 mpg and the gas was 800 split 2 way so if yall could pool up 3 or 4 to a car you would save some bucks i am taking my company vehicle so i dont have to pay for the gas fringe benefit ya know but i have 2 riding with me and 4 would be too many with all of our $#!+ so if i can help let me know. it would be worth it to drive to memphis to save 200 each if there is a couple of you but keep in mind we are leaving several days early to hunt pheasants on public land in montana and yall are more than welcome to join us on the pheasant hunt and man are we going get down at night so yall are welcome to come the more the merrier i just need to get the date and deposits locked in
