It looks like 60/6 this year. So someone tell me what really happened to the ducks last year. I've heard it all...not cold enough, not enough water, flyway shifts, refuges placing feed. Does anyone really know now?? I'll be out no matter what the season. Your thoughts? BTW, I hunt north Mississippi.

It was a dang conspiracy. The Minnesota Duck Hunter's association paid Greenpeace to use that hairspray machine of theirs to zap the ozone, which made it warmer up north. Then they dumped rock salt in all of the ponds to keep them from freezing...

Then, DamnYankee while spying on us down south, ( who 'coincidentally' just moved back north), headed up a corn-spreading program via internet that was fully funded by the Illinois Consortium on Agricultural Dumping.

I also heard that the solar eclipse and the jetstream were also involved, but I have not been able to verify it yet...

was the strangest tastin' stuff in that gallon jug I had with lunch....

I heard it might have been all them new camo patterns from Mossy Oak. I hear the ducks got ahold of them a batch and it worked so well we couldn't even see them. Yep I bet that's what it was. I'm gonna have to beef up my camo this year.

it was a definate wind factor.... Santa also had his trip programed thru GPS guidance and all ducks were detered to another route.... then again, i got two reindeer...... yum yum.....

They just blew up in mid flight. According to everyone that knows anything about counting ducks...they are all gone. They had to have died of something other than steel from my shotgun barrel.

Actually...it was a terrorist plot to confuse, distract, aggrivate and pretty much ruin the confidence of those who call themselves "duck hunters"....

I think duck populations are kind of like the stock market. This decline in numbers will be followed by an increase, then another decrease, and so on... Everything will work out in the long run.

We killed a four man limit every day. We went to these Kool duck holes in N.E. Ms. We found the pictures and GPS coordinates on the internet.
