Muscadine Farms

Postby blindleadingtheblind » Tue Sep 26, 2006 2:37 pm

I have been drawn for a teal hunt this Thursday at Muscadine Farms (Pond #10). Never been there, and wondered if this is worth any effort at all. Any information would be appreciated.

I went Monday before last. We drew pond #25. Our pond was about 6 inches deep in most places, covered in vegetation. It had a little open water, but it was in the middle of the pond. Plenty of woodies around, but no teal seen.

Muscadine has always been a joke, if it is gonna be a place like trim cane and some of the other draw hunt WMA's they need to get a area maager to stay at the place durring hunts and run things or either just do away with it

If the pond is dry, put several sheets of visquine down to give the illusion of water.
