I gonna buy a new shotgun and wanted to hear any negative comments about the Browning Gold Hunter 3.5" or the SB Eagle II. I've shot the Browning and really like the way it points. I know they're both good guns, but I want to hear about any promblems you've had with either. Any comments appreciated...

It's heavy and not cheap. :lol:
Seriously, get the Beretta Extrema2. Had one for two years and love it. Worth the extra $$$$.

Super Black Eagle. My fathers browning gold was a reduced down to a single shot every weekend last year. He would get it worked on, fire a few times, an it would mess up again. Been noticing how many brownings are for sale on the classifieds(pages 1,2,3) :wink: :wink: :wink:

I'll let GulfCoast give you the lowdown, but I'll give you the short version.

BGH over the SBE anyday of the week.

Come on :!: :!: Why :?: I need some schoolin. Just my personal experience from a club where over the past few years alot of shootin took place. The benellis outlasted the other autos. Second would be the winchesters.

Would you like for me to give ya the terminology of the initials SBE? :lol:

I've got a long list of descriptions, none of which are good. :lol:

From not shooting light loads consistently to the barrels falling off, just don't have a good track record. Some love 'em, others hate 'em.

I do agree with DR2 though, the Super 90 is a very hard gun to beat for the money.

I have a Browning Gold 3.5 and love it, the only problem I have ever had out of it is it will not eject a 2 3/4 low brass shell that is under a 1ounce load. but heck fire if ya just gonna shoot ducks and turkeys with it what ya shooting them light loads for? I am a Browning man through and through its in my bloodline but I absolutly love that gun and wouldnt trade anything for it. Its just like anything else you take care of it and it will take care of you. If you are around Louisville this weekend I will let you meet me at one of our clay pits and you can shoot it

SBE = Super Barrel Ejector.

I've been with two different people who had the barrels fall off their SBE's.

Look at the Winchester super x 2 or super x 3.
It's the same gun as the Browning, but not quite as pricey.
I love mine.
