Over the summer, one of Quack Fiend's rich friends gave him a 20' party barge with a rotted out floor. Well, we decided it might make a nice blind so we put in a floor.........

added a little paint, carpet, lumber, remesh, hogwire, and buttload of nails and staples............

oops, almost forgot, some PVC for doors..............

She was starting to look pretty good from a distance........

So we towed her down to the lake and out to the hole, added a few branches and voila!!! The shooting doors are open.

For those of ya who haven't tried it, towing a 20' party barge with an 18' boat is a bit of an adventure.

Aight, how's it look fellers?!? What cha'll think?

I don't think it will work. But since I test duck blinds for a living, better have me over for a personal inspection. I will give you a cut rate since your a member in good standing of MSDUCKS.

Looks great.

I have a hard time shooting out of a blind - standing up, warm, dry, etc. Most of my practice comes after wrestling myself out of some layout contraption and shooting at ducks as they go away. :D

Can I practice at your blind this year?

leak-free, (gary?) the "short-bus" will fit under it with lights removed but mine may be a little wide--but tied to the back of the blind a boat should be fine, as this area is heavily shaded/surrounded by trees. Call me this week if you're going saturday for la. opener, we may can all hunt together as it's just jason and i so far.
