Band info

I got my band info back from the BWT hen i shot in teal season.
Hatched 2006
banded 8/5/06
banded in Amsterdam, Saskatchewan
i was pretty excited when i got it back. shot her a little over a month and a half after she was banded.

That is a long flight. It amazes me when you look at where they are banded and how far they flew.

I imagine she was low-flyin with shades on and a cool breeze at her back.

Shot a Greenhead on opening day of the Ark. season one year near Lake Whittington. It was during a driving snowstorm. We had 7 sticking snow storms that year here in Ms. (1977) It was banded 14 days before I shot it near Central Butte, Saskatchewan. That front was really moving them down the River. Flight after flight was coming from the Ark. river to the junction with the Mississippi. Wish we could have one of those fronts this year. Happy Thanksgiving!!
