Which will be the best machine for the job. We hunt in flooded rice and bean feilds and currently running a Honda Rancher and was wondering if the side by side will do as good of job or not???

if you do a search you will get all kinds of pros and cons this has been discussed several times. A buddy of mine has the Ranger and as I am not a Polaris fan I must say I am impressed with it so far(he has had it for about 3 years) The ranger has a bigger bed and a bench seat which in my mind equals more hunters and more gear than the rhino can carry but I have never rode in a rhino before. Ranger. We ride 3 hunters, 3 dozen decoys, blind bags, guns, and 2 dogs to the blind no problem through delta field. If you get the rhino, do not get oversized tires or you will be very muddy.

I agree with the oversized tires you will get pretty muddy but as far as the vehicle itself you cant stop them rhinos ours has went everywhere i have went in it and never used the winch only down side is two riders is it in the cab and a little smaller bed but makes for better maneuvering in the woods.

I have same reply as Kenny. I just bought one this year and am very pleased with it. We get in and out of our duck hole w no problems at all. I just took both of my boys into a new neighborhood subdivision after the rain. The only thing that had been ahead of us was a bulldozier. This was after it rained for a day. I think my honda 4 wheeler would have built up alot of mud on the tires and the ranger just cruized through it. Great ride.

I have a rhino, have ridden in a ranger,
I persoonally like the rhino better, not much differnce in the power, manuevers better, more leg room, only two seats, but still I have had two in front two and a dog and decoys and guns and other junk we seem to think neccessary in the rhino

It can be fixed but I dont like the way the ranger seems to lean forward, as for the mud with larger tires on rhino , they make overfenders to take care of that.

rhino lighter of course I guess I am a little predjudice.
Both are good machines, just gotta make your own personal choice

Everyone I have ever hunted with that owns a Polaris has the shop on speed dial. Including me. Never heard the first complaint about a Rhino.

I have a RHino and built a rack that goes over the top of it just like a ladder rack on a truck. I routinely carry several dozen decoys two hunters, a dog and all of the rest of our gear. I have carried three hunters on several occasions it's just a little more cramped. The only problem I ever had was the plug fouled one morning. I changed to a different plug (a little hotter I think) and it has been fine ever since.

RANGER!!! Can haul 2 times what the rhino can more power and can sit 3 in the front.

Ranger. Hauls twice as much, you don't get near as muddy, will go through anything, and can haul more people. Quieter

I forgot the rhino is loud, real loud. It is like a truck with pipes.
