Heard some reports about filling limits on the backwater this mourning. Two groups of three killed the limit mallards and a group of two killed limit of mallards & pintails before 8:30 A.M. Each group was 4 to 6 river miles apart. I'm ready!!!!

Yeah, I saw a warden unloading his boat at like 4:50pm @16/43. It appeared that there was one group there. Been thinking about taking a little excursion.

I'm not sure where you are talking about. How far up is it and what does the hole look like?

Too hot right now. If we can catch this much water with some decent weather, we'd be in buisness.

Two buddies of mine went scouting and ended up in a mess of them with only one gun on the BB in Canton. Killed 6 mallards, one of which was banded

, and 4 woodies.

I can remember sitting in Philosophy class at Delta State in '74 drawing a picture of ducks over a flooded bean field because I passed the Big Black at Flora on hwy. 49 on the way to Cleveland that week when the river had flooded it and there were literally thousands of ducks there. It used to still do that till the Bozemans converted it to crp program. Now with only grass seed there it holds a fraction of the ducks it used to when it floods

Three of us waxed'um this mourning. Eight green, four hens, drake pintail, used gads and one woodie for the filler. Saw a decent amount of birds working the edge floodwaters. Flooded pasture was the name of the game this A.M.
