I've got a diehard State fan up here at work that says IF they get beat, it won't be by more than 7.... I think that's bull....

I don't think we'll get beat that bad if at all, but I'm not going to go bragging until I see how we play this first game. According to the grapevine, I think we may surprise some folks this year. But, on the other hand, I would have never thought we would have played as bad as we did last year either.

State will get beat but I have no idea by how much. Like anything else, the first game can always have a lot of big surprises. Maybe State can pull it out. I hope the Mississippi fans on this board can swallow a little pride and pull for us since it's an SEC team versus the Pac10.

I think we will win by 1 or 3 or possibly 7. I had a friend of mine who went to BULLDAWG day and he told me that JACKIE SAID he was ready too turn em loose. I feel like duck season will open early this year in STARKVILLE.........

I dunno about this first game. If state can stop their RB and get some pressure on the QB, it should be a close game.

Maybe Jackie should make them sit around watch all of the "Duck Commander" videos and try to get the same effect as he did with the steer!!

I believe MSU will take this one! The new Quarterback at Oregon has not seen a College Defense yet and he is about to meet one of the best!

Well I'm going out on a limb and picking MSU. I don't believe that Oregan has run up against a "real" defense like we have in the SEC.

Gimme the Dawgs! We have a big Offensive line, good RB's and a defense that has speed not to mention aggression. I know that Sherrill has a pretty tough training program, this is SEC football vs. PAC10 football, even at its worse matches we still give'em hell. Make the young QB throw, and we run it down their throats!! MARIO, MARIO, MARIO

It would sure as heck validate what I have said for years that the SEC is the toughest day-in-day-out conference in football if MSU beats the ducks.

I'm for State or just about any Mississippi team but they are going to get whipped this weekend. If one thing goes wrong, it's over......

As far as the SEC, it don't matter whether or not the Dawgs beat the Ducks or not, in my opinion, the SEC is the standard......
