Good to see other masons on the board. I had a guy IM me saying mason's was a cult and did not believe in the bible LOL. Its kills me how some people do not know anything about it but tend to judge the organization. Oh well.

I've seen a propaganda report on that recently somewhere (can't remember which media source) - amazing what people can relate to satanism if they try hard enough. Something about a few of the secrets - the way the grip is held in the handshake represents the 5 stars of satan's whatever BS, some of the intitation rituals mirror the satanic bible, etc. BS, etc. BS, etc. BS.... there was a lot of stuff that was related to evil and satanism through examples, but their examples were only marginally believable at best by the weakest of minds and the easily "bamboozaled".

I liked the Simpson's episode though - Homer took FULL advantage!!

If you think it's bad now just wait a year or so, Supposedly Dan Brown's (author of the Da Vinci code) next book is going to be about the Freemasons, who knows what that will spin off on them/you all.

My wife's grandfather was a 32nd degree, her father and uncles are all 32nd degree. That's about all I know about it. I reckon they thought I never measured up 'cause they never asked me if I was interested.

Saw a cool program on the rise of the Masonic Order. Allegedly, the Masons arose during the persecution of the Knights Templar, whose mission was to gaurd the Holy Grail. As most the Knights were executed, the survivors formed the Masonic Order, according to the show, anyway. I only know what I see on tv or read in the paper!

"Hey Seymore you ever seen the sticker "2 B 1 ASK 1"? You will never be asked to join. You yourself have to ask to join. It is not that they did not think enough about you, you have to want to become a member and tell someone you want to.
