Where is a good place to find fishing tackle other than WalMart? New to the golden triangle area.

I order most of mine on the internet. Prolly not much help if you're looking for live bait though.

I do alot of ordering online too.
Only stuff I buy locally is freshwater items as I hardly go freshwater fishing. All my barrel swivels I buy in bulk straight from Rosco. I buy in 5000 piece bags. Egg sinkers I buy from a guy in AR that makes them himself and sell @ a dollar per pound and ships in 5 pound increments. Hooks I buy from Tackle Direct or anywhere I can get the Kahale hooks on sale or in bulk for a decent price.

Welcome to Columbus Rattlesnake. Probably the closes store with the best selection is Academy in Tuscaloosa. Woods and Waters is over there too. Also a good store. Plenty of good resturants to visit to. Only an hour away. Good Luck
