RV park near Birmingham, AL?

I'm supposed to be in B'ham for a few days in a couple of weeks, and I'm taking the recently expanded family and baby. We are thinking that taking our camper might actually be easier than hauling bottles, diapers, etc. into a motel.

Does anyone know of a decent place to park a camper in or around the northern suburbs of B'ham?

My web searches haven't turned up much...

Thanks

H20 Dog, I live in Birmingham and I'm not sure about anything on the North side of the city but there is RV and camper parking at the Hoover Met in Hoover, Al. Safe place with plenty of stuff to do for the family close by.

JCA is right. The Hoover Met has telephone hook-up, cable hook-up, sewer etc... and is only minutes from grocery stores, restraunts and I459.
Glad to see you here JCA. Recognize the screen name?

Thanks Guys! I got to looking around at that area and found Oak Mtn State Park....and it is actually closer to where I'll be going. Any reason not to stay at the state park?

Thanks Wink. I think my problem is that I've been researching B'ham, when I should be looking at surrounding suburbs individually. That site is one I'll use more in the future for sure.
