Hi all,
I haven't posted on here in a while but continue to be a regular visitor (I moved from MS to VA this summer). I evidently woke up on the "wrong side of the bed" this morning and have been in a foul mood all morning(thanks in part to a disobedient lab puppy who ran out in the road in front of a car - no harm done, thank goodness, but she's just started a real streak of not minding me). I read some posts this morning to get my mind off my mood, and those posts reminded me (again) what a great bunch of folks make-up this site. When someone is in need, there's always an outpouring of advice and support, and there is always a good dose of humor with threads that need it. I just wanted to say thanks for making my day a bit better. I do love VA (my native state), but I sure did enjoy my years (5) in MS, and I do miss it. My wife's folks are still in MS, so I am looking foward to visiting soon.
Thanks again.
Thanks . . .

I've been doing great, Crow, thanks for asking. The last six months have been a whirl-wind though - got married, defended my dissertation, accepted a job in VA, moved, and am now up to my ears in teaching, research, etc. but am loving every minute of it. Oh, and I got a yellow lab puppy somewhere in there too. That's why I've not been on the site in a while. I do miss MS, especially the people and the duck hunting! Hope to get back to visit soon. If you see a truck with VA tags and a sac of decoys in the back, don't be too hard on that out-of-stater! Its probably me! Sorry I never got to any of the MS-Ducks get-togethers before I left. Maybe I can time it to get to one when my wife and I visit her folks.
Be safe and have fun.
