i am interested in purchasing and sending a dog to be trained for duck hunting...... does anyone have any breeder/trainer phone numbers or any recommendations !!!

I highly recommend Jesse. He has been training dogs for quite some time and regularly runs UKC and AKC Hunt Tests. He does quite well at these also!!

Steve Vires from Online Labs in Como Ms. 662-526-5698. He might have a litter coming up from his Colt dog (and if you ever saw Colt, you'd remember him!), and if not, he does help people find suitable litters on occasion. Steve does duck dog and HRC test training. travis

Forgot to mention that Jesse has a litter of pups that were born Saturday.
Sire: GRHRCH Chavez's Magnolia Rebel MH (900 UKC points at 4 yrs old)
Dam: HRCH Lilly's Black Swamp Mattie JH
All puppies are black. This is a threepeat breeding and dogs from the previous litters are running Seasoned (last litter) and Finished (first litter).
If you want references, I can give you names and numbers to check them out.
Jesse trained both parents and has the majority of the pups back in training.

I have one of Colt's puppies man did I waste some dog flesh heh I have to say Colt is a hellova dog. I have spent some time with mine he is a good hunter absolutely nutz about a bird if a gun pops man look out. Any way I would have to say GOOD GENE's glad my pup had em heh and papers TABOOT! go figuer!
