wingman and the dove hunt

Postby mallardchaser » Mon Oct 14, 2002 8:16 pm

Will you keep us updated with a bird outlook?
I have the relatives coming in town and don't want to "get the business" as beaver cleaver used to say, unless the outlook is positive. I'd be glad to donate my spot to someone else if I can't make it.
thanks!

We appreciate you letting us hunt your spot..

Your relatives come in town more than anyone I know...they oughta know better than that this time of year or at least accept the fact that you will not be visiting with them. Catch them on the next round....don't give up your right to bear arms! They should come back the first week of February.

There are friggin birds out the wazoo around there and I can tell you are setting the stage for the old "back out"....seen it too many times in the past.

2B or NOT 2B..that is the question.

I'll close with a Mallardchaser quote - "Ya know....?"

Doves were plentiful and the catfish was delicious. Wingman was a great host. We were outside until 10pm cleaning all those birds. Can't wait for them to hit the grill.

It's just the location, Judge. During the winter, it's nothing to see flocks of 100-200 birds flying around the cotton fields eating grass seeds on our place. They just like the location for some reason. I wish you could come down here and hunt, too. I'd like to meet ya.

Wingman, I sent you a PM the other day about a potential customer by the name of Paul Greenwell. He should be calling in a day or so to book a couple of duck hunts for him and some of his buddies. They all work for the school sytem here and are good people. Hope the hunt goes well this weekend.
