Whoever is hosting Jim Rome's show today just called Les Miles a Boob, and said the SEC is not 'All That'. Then called out the Mississippi States of the world. i.e. State sucks! hahahahahahaha
I changed the title.
What are y'all takes on this tool?

Idon't keep up with alot of football can take it or leave it,But stuff like that is crap. You take the top team's out of all the other conferance's and make them play a SEC scheduel and they would'nt break even on win loss yr in yr out.If the SEC aint all that ,then where is it the football and basketball champ's are from.

Argue all you want about conferences, but USC is gonna be damn good this year and their schedule aint exactly "soft."

Jim Rome was the guy that got picked on in high school.
He is real chummy with people that come on his TV show and then rails on them when their names pop up in the headlines. John Daly comes to mind.
I haven't heard his sit in that you're talkin about but he can't be much better.

Does anyone remember when Jim Everett called Rome out on his show and then turned the table over on top of him?

He called him Chris Evert and Jim (who is a pretty big guy) was fixing to stomp a mud hole in that limp wristed weasel. Pretty funny. A few more of those hosts and photographers need some "hands on" in my opinion.

The great part about the Rome-Everett fued is the production assistant running to Rome's rescue. I am sure that guy was thinking, "Mother F@#*, I either get fired for not helping or my a@# kicked for stepping in." Rome is that guy in high school or your fraternity that is obnoxious and starts fights that you end up fighting on his behalf...even though you don't like him in the first place that much.
As to USC, I hate them but must admit that they will in all likelihood win the NT this year. They are LOADED at virtually every position. I think they have 7 or 8 Five Star Running Backs! That is insane. Not to pick on anyone, but have State or Ole Miss had 7 or 8 Five star players in the last decade?
SC also plays a tough out of conference schedule to make up for their in conference deficiency.
I would love for LSU to have the opportunity to play them in New Orleans for the national title, but I have my doubts that LSU makes it. LSU is pretty loaded but the SEC is the SEC and they are a QB injury away from losing a several games. Who knows what Crowton will bring to the table either at OC? I could see LSU losing 4 or more games. I do think on a talent basis, LSU is as close as any school to USC. However, having an experienced QB means a lot and USC has that.
I cannot stand Pete Carroll or USC, but I must give them their due respect.
