After looking at some of gator's pics I figured I should get a photobucket account and try some of my own from the past few years.

Vail Co. Sept 2006. It was such a big snow storm that it made the news here in Jackson. At least it was big for the time of year it occured.

Thought you were talking about Delta snow?

Good pics by both guys, maybe a new forum would be needed if this catches on. I might actually have to figure out posting pics after all.

BD, man, my pics suck but if they got you to thinking about pushing the plunger, cool............that vail pic is TUFF brohammy.

but, i got some sunrises.......................and, i'll see yours and raise ya one

these were both last year, in a time i call 2006 BR ("before ramsey").....he'll have to explain.

woodduck, i think a photo forum is a great idea....you can go all over the place and see photo's but i can tell ya, we got some DANGED good shutterbugs here.....ramsey, gordon and chan come to mind and blackduck w/ his photo's ain't far off.

slowly, ever ever so slowly, i'm coming to appreciate the "littler" things such as that one great pic, that crisply ran blind on a cripple, that mallard cupping down and dumping wind only serving as a mental burn of the pic...............all of it, and the hard work it takes to reach each of those split second moments.

sometimes, a hand just needs to sit back and say..............DAMN

Excellent shots from both of you. Soon as I can get the funds, I look to purchase a good SLR. Until then, it's the ole 35.

I've got two sunrises and one sunset. I really didn't start carrying the camera till this past year. It is a Nikon Cool PIx 8300. Tripod makes all the difference. I'll be in teh market for a slr in the next 6m or so. I really want a telephoto for wildlife.
