So, how many do you have anyway???

Postby MemphisStockBroker » Fri Oct 25, 2002 11:02 am

My wife was doing an inventory of all of my firearms the other day.... and it was almost embarassing. Hope that the US Government does not ever ask .. I could almost outfit an army. Me & John Wayne could take on all the bad guys with no problem.

curious... how many guns do you own? Pistols, shotguns, rifles, muzzle loaders. they all count...
Sometimes you just have to close your eyes, count to ten, take a deep breath and remind yourself that you wouldn't look good in prison stripes... and just smile at that dumbass and walk away.

2 - long rifles (.270 and 30-06 caliber)

Hey deadeye, I have many fond memories of blasting critters with my Benjamin .177 pellet rifle. I am sad to say that it is no longer with me. It died after I tried loading it with a pinch of birdshot. It fired a few times, while trying to shoot blackbirds out of the air in my neighborhood. Somehow, the bolt mechanism got damaged in the process and it never fired again.

Great rifle, stupid kid.

PS, just in case any kids here are thinking about trying it. It won't work. There's not enough air pressure behind the birdshot.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if you could but a "wad" of some sorts on top of the pinch of birdshot to provide necessary pressure??? I wish I would have thought of that 19 years ago.
