Romo Gets Lucky

How in the world can you have 6 turnovers and still win a football game? It helps when the team you are playing doesn't score an offensive touchdown. The Cowboys got lucky squeaking out a win last night against Buffalo in one heck of a Monday Night Football game. They better not be counting on luck next Sunday against the Patriots.

I thought they lost? I watched the failed two point conversion where Owens had the ball stripped away with a few seconds left, turned it off. Only part of the game I watched since the Indians were finishing off the Yanks!

All I can say is Dallas outscored Buffalo. The Bills came to play ball while the Cowboys showed their true colors.
The Boys play like that this Sun against New England they are gonna get their asses handed to 'em.

I thought it was over also but they kicked an onside kick and got the ball, made two completions to get into field goal range, and kicked the winning field goal (twice), all within 20 seconds and no timeouts!

If not for the fourth quarter, I think Romo would have had as many completions to Buffalo as he did to Dallas.
When they interviewed Romo at the end, he said that kick saved him, and that he had played horrible. I hadn't noticed untill he brought it up.

I liked it when the woman asked about the 4 int's in the first half and he was able to laugh it off and say, "Was it 4? I thought it was like 7."
I hate the cowboys but I have a hard time hating Romo.

man what a game.. i almose went to bed when the cowboys didn't get the 2pt conv.. but i always love to see and onside kick... /.
what do you guys think about the rule of calling timeout right as the kicker from the other team is about to kick the ball..

I guess it is legal, but the last two that I have seen (one college, one Pro) have looked like late calls. It looked like the ball was through the uprights before the Ref bottle-arsed out on the field to call time.

man, something about doing that just don't seem right.
steve young and emmitt smith were asked about it and said basically the same thing....kinda like not being able to really figure out why you don't like something, you just know you don't.

Its just like icing a kicker before they line up you're just waiting to do it the moment before the ball is snapped. You watch though it'll backfire on a coach though cause he'll call the TO and the kicker will miss it the first time and drill it the second time to win the game.
