Try a club called "Prarie Wings" in the Stuttgart area. Hands down the best shallow water floded oak hunting consistently year after year. This is a mallard camp only and you leave the water by 10:00 each morning, giving the ducks time to regroup and rest. I was lucky enough to go on a paid hunt there couple years ago and the lodge and food are 4-star! Absoulutly awesome scenery- dont forget to take a camera with lots of film.

I know Snapp, gets on here some, had some great timber spots a few years back. At that time it was actually on public land and they have since outlawed guiding on public in Arkie. I think he has some private timber holes now. Not sure though. He seemed to be a pretty straight up fellow when I talked to him last year. I asked about timber and he told me at that time they were killin more in fields. Said he could put me in timber but did not recomend it at that time. You have to appreciate a guide giving an honest answer even though he new that the only way i was coming was for timber. Sorry for the long post. Simple answer would have been to give Snapp a call.

I guess the PM stuff is messed up. Send me your postal address to snapp1@sbcglobal.net and I'll drop you a DVD and FAQ sheet in the mail. Will answer your questions about timber and our operation.

Say, thanks for the plug guys!
