The ducks are located between Minneapolis Mn and Memphis as of right now. They are just feeding all along the flyway. We need a cold front up north to push those ducks down. They arent moving unless jackfrost hits the north.

Also - saw on TWC that they are expecting sleet and mix in northern AR tomorrow night...
There will be winter weather - sleet, snow, freezing rain as far south as Cape Girardeau MO from now through the weekend..

It's a wonder you don't see advertisements for camo, waders, shotshells, snacks, atv's and all kinds of other duck hunting related stuff on the weather channel this time of year. Their viewers likely double once the season opens.

The father of a friend of mine lives in the Reelfoot lake area and hunts Reelfoot. He is saying that they are covered up with a lot of ducks. He said it has been easy getting a limit of just about whatever species you want to shoot.

I am glad to see some cold weather hitting the north. Hopefully the ducks will hit us this weekend. I will have another report later this week. I hope the ducks get pushed down.
