BOY, THAT WAS TOUGH. Just when I though I was going to take it all, Here comes water!!! Junior Water was set up as tough a Junior test as I've ever seen. I haven't seen many but I've never heard of a test where only a couple dogs pass!! I guess they had seperate us somehow though. Congrats to Pinky, who I assume won the Junior. Called Pinky cause the dog had a Pink collar!!!!
The guys did a pretty good job but there could definitely have been more orginization. It appeared that they never looked at the grounds till after 8am Saturday morning. Junior didn't get started till almost 9:30 cause they didn't start setting it up till well after 8. Also, Next time, you may want Porta Potties. I hated to have to go into a total strangers house and blow it up like I did!!hahaha

Lunch was great, the best meal I've had at an HRC event, even though I haven't had many, this one was good!!!
I guess I'm done for the year, see ya'll at West Mississippi!!!! By the way, what the WMHRC date???

Pinky didnt win the JR. The judges dog's and one commitee member, Mark Ingram ran the table of nine placements except for 2, maybe 3, not sure who got 3rd in Jr. A first in Senior won by a dog named Dakota and my dog Scoop got a 3rd in Senior. Mark Ingram took first in masters and Jr. Mark Medford, who judged SR took 2nd in masters and 2nd in jr. Chris Christofer, who judged SR got 3rd in masters and Wally Riffle, who judged masters, dog got 2nd in SR.
It was a great training day. I ran SR and Masters but could only be in contention for the lower stake. Wouldnt you know it, my dog smoked the masters set up but had trouble on one bird in SR(big hunt). I paid $50.00 and got 3 live flyers, 4 set ups and a great lunch. It was a fun day. MSHRC did an outstanding job as usual.

Wouldnt you know it, my dog smoked the masters set up but had trouble on one bird in SR(big hunt). It was a little unusual mark for a SR stake: 183 yd bird thrown straight back along a tree line about head high. That was, by far, the toughest bird in any stake. I was pizzed my dog didnt nail that bird but he broke down short. I paid $50.00 and got 3 live flyers, 4 set ups, a great lunch and a trophy. It was a fun day. MSHRC did an outstanding job as usual.
