Mississippi Ducks Unlimited Volunteer Christmas “Get Together” on Wednesday December 12th 2007. We have a bunch of door prizes, a four gun raffle, games and our ever so popular “guaranteed win raffle.” This year we have added a few new twists to make this even more fun!!! You don’t want to miss this event it’s always a great time and a great way to celebrate the season.

You’re welcome to bring friends, spouses and any and all potential volunteers to help on your next year’s event. This is a great time to expose potential new volunteers to Ducks Unlimited, so please do what you can and bring some new volunteers to the event!!

A ticket for this event is $15 for each attendee & can be purchased at the door.

I hear they are giving away 5 tons of corn for you take up north and put out.

I love these "Thank you" evenets that you have to pay to go to.

ok - maybe I should have said that this event is for those that actually support DU. It gives the guys a chance to attend an event & let someone else do the work for a change. Yea - it cost $15 bucks - big deal. Didn't mean to start another "corn up north" discussussion. Just thought I could meet some fellow MS Duckers at the event. By the way - just curious - do yall think DU created Global Warming as well. No pun intended.

If you don't support DU.....DONT GO.....I get sick and tired of all this DU bashing crap. Untli there is a question about habitat or duck behavior or the like and everybody is posting up "Ask Chad Manlove, he knows". You don't think they are worthwhile until you've got an issue.......freakin kids.....grow up.....

Heck if it wasn't for DU and organiztions like them we would not have near the waterfowl to hunt that we do now. If you have a problem with spending $15, which is probably going to cover the price of renting the clubhouse, then just stay home. Heck $15 won't even fill up a 4 wheeler now a days with the way gas prices are. I think it is a great idea to have a party like this to try to get more interest and support in this area. I will do my best to be there and support DU. Also coming from the side of having put on a dinner it is nice to be able to go to one and just relax and have a good time while someone else does the work.
Just remember no matter what you do you can't make everyone happy!
