bee lake/ thorton area

anybody every hunt this area i have a big block of family owned land and just never tried it, but thinking about planting some next year.

Yeah, it can be great hunting. Hillside refuge is right there and it has historically been very good duck hunting. I know a lot of people that hunt that area and do very well.

Use to be good. Cousin farms on the north side of the lake and leaves a fair portion every year. They don't kill much anymore at all.

Area has been good in years past but the last 5 years or so have been real slow...

thanks it's about 600 acres and i just feel like it would atleast be worth trying.my father-in-law used to hunt it alot and he said the same things. but it won't cost much to try and then i'll know one way or the other
