wondering if any birds spotted? i tryed a local hole this morn with nothing... wonder if the big water is producing... one report said that the best flights were in the last two weeks and seemed to be slowing down some... sure wish we could have a woodie during the early season like TN.. by the way, i am in the far north of the state....

Hunted this morning with my sister and her boyfriend. Results were enjoyable. Saw a lot of teal but we only killed six. We were hunting big water so there were plenty of other places for them to go besidesjour spread.

I killed every teal I saw this morning stone cold dead. Just one shot on every one of em! Only shot twice..... Just were not many birds down in my neck of the woods, very little shooting all along the marsh. I have been watching the weather like a hawk, and I am hoping that the little cold snap that is showing through tuesday will bring the birds in for a little action Wednesday A.M. At least I hope so.....

Judge,
The reports down here in my neck of the woods have been spotty at best. I have seen a few groups the last week or so, but total I have probably seen about 15 birds. Hearing everyone complaining about the number of teal right now. Hopefully this little cool wave will push them down.

I got another pair this morning before church. No big groups of teal to be found, and I have been sitting in some of my best holes. I am giving it up till the cold snap in the middle of the week. At least that might calm some of the mosquitos down, anyway. Otherwise I will have to go north, I guess.

The teal are in north Mississippi, the reason you guys aren't seeing many is because we are not letting many get away. hehehe

Hunted teal 5 days with five limits.

We are hunting north of Indianola.

What's left will probably get to you guys around the end of teal season.

Damn, will you people please stop using specific names for hunting places? This crap is getting a little old. How about north west ms rather than Arkabutla Lake. All these places are gonna be eat up with rubberheads if you don't watch out.

Hawkeye, I see that Arthur tought you some Low country slang. Rubberhead. Everyone has them. You talked to Arthur lately? I will get with him this week. Hope you are doing fine. I see that the water is alot better than it has been in the last 3 years. Good luck Baldpate
