I am planning a trip to hunt near Greenwood this season. One source (not local) has told me that there won't be any ducks in the first half of December and that they come later when it is colder. Early December is when I would most like to be there. I would like the opinions of anyone who might actually have some knowledge.

Depends on the weather, the water and where you are hunting. Some folks around Greenwood did great during the first of the season last year. However, the hunting is usually better later in the season.

Well unfortunately, no one, HERE, possesses that kind of 'knowledge' (the ability to foresee the future).

GOOD LUCK!.....and thanks for not mentioning any specific destinations!
