Just curious to know if there are any other hunters on here hunting around Crowder Miss. Want to know if yall are seeing the growing number of teal in the area. Hunting with four other people this past weekend both Sat. and Sunday morning and killed limits of nothing but teal.
Where are the MALLARDS! Hoping that all this really cold weather will push this ducks down for these last two weekends..
AWFUL AT CROWDER!

We hunted Saturday and sunday, killed 0 Sat. and 3 sunday, 1 teal and 2 Mallards. Our worst year on record!! About 40 for the year, (that's about 25 hunts and an average of 3 hunters per trip. So a kill ration of about .5
ducks per man a trip. I have been hunting Crowder since 1977, and it is
so far behind what it used to be, it's totally unbelievable. FYI, when mother nature doesn't flood her part of the area, the hunting is not as good, but it is usually better than this!!

Saw more teal than I have ever seen in one place yesterday afternoon (South Delta). 400 in one flock.

This is only my second year hunting down there. Mostly all before that was with buddies and family out on the river. Had a near death experience out there so have not been back. I have killed one mallard all year, and the rest of the group has accounted for I think 10 total. ALOT of shovelers.. but we have now got to the point we will not waste our shells on them. Have though in the past few weeks taken nice limits of teal. All green wing of course.

Arkansas has sick #'s of Mallards. I was there last week and every field with water had mallards. Not gadwalls or any other grey ducks...mallards! Just shows you what a difference normal amounts of rainfall makes. Lots of water and lots of greenheads.

I watched several thousand on a particular hole up here a few days ago. No lie, at least 4-5,000 teal.

Without a doubt!!! Saturday was unbelievable.. Not only did we spank the ducks but saw upwards of 70,000 to 80,000 snow geese in the air throughout the morning. If we down there you know what I am talking about! May not be a lot to some.. But I was amazed!
