No dux in Swiftown, Pop hunts there, very thin this year, he might take your money and stick you on a catfish pond to shoot hollywood and his cousins! Ask first.

I seriously doubt that would be the case. He is a long time member of this site and well respected among us. I am sure beyond the shadow of a doubt that he would be up front about the numbers. PM him and ask ..........

I hunted with them I think during the 2005/2006 season. Rocky and company are a cool bunch and know their ducks. My avatar is a pic of the break we hunted. Here is a pic from our hunt:

4 man limit mixed bag.. Hunted a break 15 maybe 10 min from the lodge.

some people know it all dont they....???? yes sometimes we like to shoot a few bootlips but it is up to the customer... sometimes you got ducks sometimes you dont. some customers would rather shoot just to shoot and others would rather wait on big ducks. i do some guiding for rocky and we have any type duck hunting that you could ask for in MS. but we cant control the ducks or the weather. what we can control is the fact that you will have a great time, eat as much good food as you can stand, be catered to every minute you are there and if things go well you will shoot some ducks. believe me rocky has about 80-85% return customer base and there are plenty mallards killed there. but as far you getting stuck on the side of a catfish pond you my friend are misinformed.

btw ewd506 we killed 3 man limits of gads and mallards by 7:15 this morning in swiftown.... mossy island is a top notch guide service. not as fancy as mallard manor or some of the other 600 a day places but a great place to go and a good value

I know some guys that hunted this morning with ESPN tv crew and didn't kill a duck. They weren't with MIO.

When there are no big ducks, about the only thing you can hope for is divers on fishponds. It's either that or stay home.

Ain't nothing wrong with that, because you just might hit the jackpot while shooting at those divers

Was that the crew filming at Egypt Plantation?

Isn't mossyisland the guide that got stiffed last week? Tried to take the group to shoot catfish ponds after a disappointing hunt? I would recommend him and don't know him just for trying to keep his customers happy with a free afternooon hunt.
