Hoover Sauce for those of you who order it

How long did it take them to mail it to you? I always go bay and pick mine up but I didnt get enough last time so I am having them mail it to me. I ordered last week and was hopeing to get it by this weekend so I'm just curious

Wal-mart super centers carry it now. why order?

well for one its probably not the real thing, granted everything in it can probably be bought there :lol: and 2nd I am living in the sunshine state and these dumb ass's down here dont know what deer meat is let alone something as great as hoover sauce

Corinth Ms.-super center- it is a good sauce but i wasn't that "carried away" as i was expecting. don't get me wrong, i liked it. with the hype i was expecting more.

Well I sure as hell wouldn't be ruining good deer meat with Hoover Lee sauce! Learn how to cook it man!!!!!

I use it on alot of stuff not just deer meat.


Oh I already know how to cook it but thanks for the tip :wink:

I guess to each is own. I will say I have seen a few imitations of it though that were no where near as good

Buddy of mine here in Starkville cooked some ribs and had it as dippin sauce. Just didn't think it was all that.

Hoover sauce is not really a great sauce, but i think it makes a great marinade. Its consistency helps it stick to meat, therefore it absorbs better, i still like the taste of alegro better!

For ribs / chicken try this recipie:

hoover sauce
halopeno pepper juice (from the can)
black olive juice (from the Can)


rub with tony's

then marinade, then baste while cooking!

Mix it 50/50 with Italian dressing. Cut up your duck breast and soak overnight. Wrap'em up with bacon and a glob of cream cheese and a few slices of jalapeno in the middle and throw them on the grill.
Put the plate on top of your head and your tongue will beat your brains out trying to get to them!
Now I don't care for it on deer or steak myself.

To me it is best with pork loin as a sopping sauce. Of course I think the best boiled shrimp dip is 1000 island. To each his own I guess.

yeah I use it as a marrinade on deer meat and chicken and a sloppin sauce on the prok tenderloin
