What is the best kind for spring turkey season and training dogs on summer mornings. I am looking for the best kind that will not burn my feet up.

If you don't want a pair of snake boots, I would go with Muck boots. I have hunted in a pair of Wetlands the past two seasons. They are comfortable and my feet enver sweated in them. I also wear Rocky pull-on snake boots.

Alpha burly sport. I've had a pair for 4 years now and walked many a mile chasing thunder chickens. Fit like a tennis shoe, imo. I'll never buy a different kind ever again.

We've tried the muck boots, granted they are pretty comfy, but they fail to hold up to the briars and thorns we have. We tore a pair up very quick.

Yeah I got to have something that holds up on briars real well. I also have a pair of rocky snake boots. They are supposed to be waterproof but if you wear them on a wet morning or walking through creeks my feet get soaked.

Un-insulated Lacrosse Burleys.

I made a deal with snakes.... I don't bother them and they don't bother me. It works like a charm... plus, I watch where I step.

For me that's two diffrent boots. I use uninsulated standard lacrosse boots for turkeys.

For dog training in the summer you absolutley can't beat a pair of white shrimp boots. They fit a little loose so they aren't as hot, and being white they reflect the heat instead of soak it in instead of absorbing like dark colors. We wear them everywhere down here for a reason.
