Hey guys (and gals),
I'm new to the boards. I'm a SC boy who's been traveling around for a few years and look to be landing in Jackson next. Won't get there till this summer, but I thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself and get to know some people and, hopefully, get a little info on where to look for some good fishing and duck hunting.
Grew up in the backwoods of SC mostly fishing as a kid. Still love bass fishing, catfishing, and fly flishing, but I've never done much salt water. Started duck hunting in high school with a buddy of mine and loved it immediately. Hunted hard in SC for about 6 years and made a couple trips to AR. Studied wildlife biology at Clemson and worked for the CO Div. of Wildlife for about 2 years. Killed a mess of ducks while I was out there. Since then I've been in Turkey teaching English.
Looking to move to the Jackson area, but need a place to stay and a job. I've got a few friends there already, but could always use more.
Hope to be seeing y'all in a few months.
Chris

Deagle, caz is the just the transliteration of the word jazz. C, in Turkish, is pronounced like our J.
There may be some other slang meaning to it, but I think it just means Jazz Turk.
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I know with duck season over, there's not always a lot on the boards like this, but maybe I can add to the flavor around here.

qckmstr - It means duck hunter in Turkish.
bannerk - What does "the turkish virus" mean?
Funny story that most of you already know about. My American friends and I have been watching 24 on DVD, starting in season one. We started season 4 last night and the main plot (at this point) revolves around a group of Turkish nationals kidnapping the Secretary of Defense.
We pulled the blinds shut and turned the volume down when we realized what was going on. No need in rousing the neighbors.
