Ok here you go. If you want to get some really good music 1st download this http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=29330 I recomend 1.7.5. After you get this you will need something to decode the flac files or mp3 files or shn or whatever format the music is in. this is what i use http://www.nch.com.au/switch/plus.html. You can then put them on your Ipod or burn them to cds. As far as the sites go to find the music i go here http://www.tapecity.org/forums.php. http://bt.etree.org/index.php and here http://digitalpanic.org/bittorrent/index.php. Also you can go here it is by invitation only and if you are interested you can pm me and I will send you an invite. http://www.stmusic.org.

I read it that he already had the music on his Ipod and wanted it transfered to his hard drive.

I had this problem when I bought a new computer. Bestbuy sells a cd that transfers all files(music, pictures, docs, etc.) from you're ipod to you're hard drive. I'm almost positive it was called TunesPlus. Around $20 or so. It was the only thing that helped me. Good luck!

He does I was just giving him another source to get more music  By the way if you do get another computer like tedl10 your ipod will try to erase all files on it when you try to add more music from the new computer. So you must transfer all these files before hand. I was not aware of tunesplus though thanks for that info tedl10.

ok, this my be a dumb question, but here goes... i want to get all my music (lots of it) from my napster account and put it on my ipod. i dont not want to have to burn all of it on cds, put it back on my hard drive, and then get it from my harddrive to my ipod. too much trouble for 1 thing and for another, it would cost too much. this is why i paid the monthly subscription to napster. i have thought about trying to put it on my mp3 and put it on another computer and then put it on my ipod.... not sure what to do here..any help i would apprecitate it.

I download all my music through MP3 Rocket and transfer to iTunes. On Rocket, there is an option to "explore", I click on that and then choose the "send to" option. After that, I choose iTunes. Everything is done and transfered after that. I am not sure if it is the same for you but I hope this helps.

Not to change the subject but an external hard drive is a good place to store your music or back it up. Then you can transfer the external to a new computer and reinstall itunes.

This site has a ton of music and a very very wide range. Whatever you can think of type it in and it's prob there. Mp3's flac shn or whatever format you need. http://www.stmusic.org
