I got an itch to go play in some snow, cheap. Anybody ever stayed at breckenridge park meadows? Its by far the cheapest condos available, im just wondering how sheety they are?

Skied there, but never stayed at that place. Have you ever been to Heavenly at Lake Tahoe?

Ive skied bout everywhere in colorado and some of utah, never made it to lake tahoe. It and whistler are on my list

take a look at Angel Fire and Red River, NM. They are both just south of Raton Pass.

If going on the cheap, check out Whistler, B.C.

I have been snow skiing all of my life.... I have been to Breckenridge, vail, keystone, glenwood springs, aspen, Squaw valley, and Heavenly... Keystone is by far my most favorite place to snow skii.. There is no comparison between Heavenly and Keystone. The mtn at heavenly sucked, you better not plan on going across the mtn or you will be walking. To clear it up at heavenly if you go across slopes it is flat terrain and you will get stuck walking whereas in Keystone they are sloped so you will be able to ski across slopes. Everything is cheaper in Keystone also!!!! I will say that Lake Tahoe has a better night life for a single guy and The Lake at Tahoe is very pretty, but as far as snow skiing, I suggest Keystone all the way.

I have never stayed there but have been in them (I think)I had a friend working out there and him and another guy shared a 1 room condo. It was TINY. They are old and look like an old apt. complex in starkville or oxford. Good news is they are getting a ton of snow!

I have never stayed there, but I was in Breckenridge in December and didnt see any place I wouldnt stay in. Doesnt mean they arent there, but I would think being Breckenridge it wouldnt untolerable......

It will be OK I am sure. You'll be sleeping there and that's about it so I wouldn't worry about it too much. FYI - I worked for Keystone at one time. There wasn't anything there at the time other than the River Run feed line. I have since been back and they have built up River Run to hold the tourists and have done a nice job..bars, shops, etc.

Regardless, Breck is a good Summit County central location for A-basin, Keystone, Vail and Copper Mountain (last on the list). Be sure to spend a full day at A-basin if you want to get away from the crowds and get in some good technical stuff (if you can hit the mark).

Breck is a fun town...ski all day, drink some beer and grab some eats and crash hard. BTW - Extreme Pizza cooks a mean pie

Go to Park City.
30mins from the SLC airport and better snow than CO, by far.

my older bro used to ski alot and he skied breckenridge all the time. said it was great for the money....

Tahoe is not that great. Don't waste your time going there. Colorado is way over rated as well, Utah has much better skiing and it's very easy to get in and get out. Direct flights out of Memphis and you can ski for free that day if you leave in the morning and present a plane ticket receipt at the hill ticket counter.

I've been to most places in North America skiing and Whistler is by far the best place in North America if not the world. There is nothing cheap about it though. I would highly recommend staying at the Chateau Whistler Fairmont. You can ski in and ski out of this location and it is top notch if you need to rent equipment.

The best kept secret in North America is Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada inside Banff National Park. Very few lines and it's a great mountain with some of the best views in the world. This place is simply unreal. I can't believe that it's not more of a tourist destination since it ranks consistently in the Top 5 in the world for places to ski.
